October 2 2019 – On Tuesday, EASP presented the findings of their recent survey at “Salone della CSR e Innovazione Sociale” – the leading national annual meeting in Italy regarding sustainability. The survey explores the roles, salaries, team sizes, activities and challenges of CSR and sustainability professionals across seven European countries.
It revealed that CSR/sustainability units are still small compared to other business units, managers do tend to interact with CEOs and boards, many professionals are providing input into mainstream strategy and decision-making, and a majority of professionals see climate change as the key challenge likely to impact their organisations.
The survey was produced in collaboration with EASP members, research partners ALTIS at the Italian Graduate School of Business and Society, and survey sponsors Greenflex and KPMG. Thank you!
