The Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS) is the UK’s professional body for sustainability professionals. We help individuals and organisations to be brilliant in their work so that they can make a positive difference to society and our planet.

  • Regular webinar programme covering all aspects of the sustainability agenda
  • Face-to-face events, covering important topics in-depth, and providing a ‘safe-space’ for professionals to discuss challenges and best practice

We offer two types of membership: Individual and Organisational. Individual Membership is about developing the skills of individual CR and sustainability professional.
Our tiered individual membership structure consists of:

  • Affiliates: Those with an interest in CRS, but only a small amount of experience in CRS (students, recent graduates, and those who don’t do CRS full-time);
  • Associates: Professionals working in CRS with 2-5 years of experience;
  • Members: Experienced professionals with over 5 years of experience in CRS; and
  • Fellow: Leaders in the field of CRS, distinguished by their achievements and contribution to the development of the profession over an extended period.

Organisational Membership focuses on building the CR and sustainability capabilities of the organisation.Organisational membership is open to all organisations, including corporates, SMEs, charities, academic institutions and not-for-profits.

We champion the corporate responsibility and sustainability (CRS) profession by:

  • Recognising the achievements and experience of our members through our membership application progress;
  • Rewarding the accomplishments of our members by highlighting best practice, and providing professional recognition; and
  • Supporting the development of CRS professionals, by providing networking and learning opportunities.
